FALL WITH DYLAN WYLDE

DYLAN WYLDE is a local women's fashion, accessories, and home goods boutique located in South Austin, TX. The selection of clothing is very fashionable, trendy, mixed with a bit of East coast + Austin vibes, and most importantly - affordable! DYLAN WYLDE is that one-stop-shop you can't help but want to spend all your money......on everything. Maybe that's not a bad thing. Before then, I visited the shop after just casually driving by on South Lamar during the Summer and fell in love with the space. I also met the owner - Jessica, who is literally just the most genuine and sweetest person ever!  I am so excited that I recently got the opportunity to team up with DYLAN WYLDE to put together three looks for Fall to share with you guys!

It was so hard to choose just three looks for this shoot. I wanted to try on and wear everything! Considering the fact that Fall doesn't really take us seriously in Texas, it was easier to choose multiple versatile pieces that could be worn all year long. For my first look; I chose this velvet balloon-sleeved cropped sweatshirt to pair with this fun printed pleated skirt because the colors worked so well together. I knew I wanted to wear this crushed velvet top, and I also wanted to create a unique look so I asked for Jessica's opinions on a few bottoms. She suggested this skirt which was perfect since the colors of the prints were so on point with the top. It was only half-way through shooting this look when I spotted a must-have belt to fully complete.

For my second look, I picked a long denim jacket as a staple piece and paired with it with this sheer embroidered top, and a ruffled leather mini skirt. As I mentioned before, Fall in Texas isn't very Fall-ish so you can pretty much get by wearing skirts and short boots the entire season. In the morning - you can take advantage of the sweater weather, and by the afternoon you'll be wearing your undershirt (which I don't wear, so I'd be S.O.L.) I do think that leather skirts are another staple that can be worn all year long because you have so many ways that you can style them. With t-shirts, tanks, crop-tops, sweaters, jackets, etc. You can't go wrong with a velvet bootie either. I scored this pair from Steve Madden last year when velvet anything was the current-craze. I would say that it still is..

For my third and final look......can we just talk about these metallic pinstriped pants? I immediately gravitated towards them because they are so good. You can't tell in the photos but the pinstripes have gold, bronze, and silver detailing. Obsessed. I paired them with this glittery metallic-bronze cropped top and an oversized long-line blazer. I love this look simply because our weather can be versatile, all well as this outfit. If it randomly got warmer during the day, you can remove the blazer and still look polished and put together. This blazer is another statement piece that you can throw over almost anything to dress up (over a dress), or create more of a casual-chic look paired with denim and sneakers.

What did you guys think of these looks? Which one was your favorite? I loved every single look, but my absolute favorite was the very first look! I just had to have that long-sleeved velvet cropped top.  You can currently shop all of these pieces at DYLAN WYDLE and tell them Meghan sent you!
